9:03Now PlayingBernard Clark reports on the British "Hot Rod" drag racing scene. A meeting was held yesterday at the Santa Pod racetrack in Bedfordshire, in front of thousands of eager spectators.
Bernard speaks to Bob Phelps, the owner of the Santa Pod Raceway, and meets a couple of drivers who operate at different ends of the sport's financial scale - Roz Prior, who drives the impressive "Maneater" and Harry Corrigan, who races in a modified Austin Westminster.
