8:30Now PlayingA ruthless world of firings, self-confessed egotists, headhunters... and Micky Dolenz of The Monkees?!
Charlotte Allen takes a probing look inside the London advertising industry and the people who work in it.
So, is a job in advertising all about the money? Does the flamboyant lifestyle attract egotists? Are advertisers out of touch with the everyday person? Is advertising actually an art form? And the biggest conundrum of them all - does Superman really fly?
Attempting to answer these questions and more are Moe Jenns - Managing Director of the British arm of Bozell Jacobs, Peter Marsh aka 'Mr Showbiz' - Chairman of Allen Brady & Marsh, Micky Dolenz - former star of hit TV series The Monkees, Miles Young - Oxford graduate and upcoming account manager at Lintas, and finally Freddie Tarrant - headhunter extaordinaire and queen of the advertising jungle.
