as posted by the channelIt's easy to forget these days that the 60s, as well as a decade of revolution, still had its fair share of bachelors living in boarding houses, dealing with landladies and 'busy-bodies'. The aggravation became rather too much for this doctor, who abandons his 'digs' and instead lives in a car parked in a country lane.
Although out of the rat-race, he still has a routine. Daily 'housework' (cleaning and airing his car every day), maintaining the surrounding walls of straw that he has constructed, and repairing the work of 'hooligans' who vandalise the site, trying to drive him away.
He says it’s all worth it to live, ironically, with some real privacy for the first time in his life.
