Monitor imagines how future archaeologists might view the British society of 1962, long after "the Catastrophe".
A previous archaeological expedition to the site of that long gone civilisation all perished, but their sacrifice was not entirely in vain. They uncovered an extraordinary array of artefacts on their mission, which they collected and left on a beach, for future expeditions to find. What can we discern about the kind of civilisation that existed in Britain in the 1960s from these strange items?
