All across Britain, people are beginning to embrace the daily grind. It's the latest craze sweeping the nation's kitchens and dining rooms - pebble polishing (not a euphemism). Patented cutting and grinding machines and tumbler-washers are taking pride of place in many a British kitchen, as homemade jewellry becomes all the rage. Tumblers operate for weeks on end, night and day, "driving everybody mad."
Nationwide's John Swinfield investigates this phenomenon.
