Wynford Vaughan Thomas and Rowland Lucas journey along the border between England and Wales, stopping at various places of interest.
They begin at the bridge across the River Wye at Chepstow in Monmouthshire and travel north, taking in Chepstow Town, St Arvans, Tintern Abbey, Monmouth, Skenfrith, Grosmont village, the Black Mountains, Llanthony Valley, Capel-y-ffin, Presteigne, Knighton, the River Teme, the Knucklas Viaduct, Montgomery, Trelystan, Criggion, Gredington House, Chirk Castle and end their journey looking out over the River Dee at Flint Castle.
