Blue Peter's Lesley Judd pays an eventful visit to the isolated Bishop Rock lighthouse - four miles away from anything else in the Atlantic ocean. Lesley travels to the lighthouse aboard a boat skippered by the experienced Mike Hicks and, as Mike navigates the roiling seas around the base of the lighthouse, Lesley is winched onto Bishop Rock using a breeches buoy.
Once inside the lighthouse, principal keeper Andy Bluer shows her around, explaining how the light itself works and is maintained. After a very brief visit, Lesley has to make another nerve-wracking winch trip back down onto the waiting boat.
