4:40Now PlayingLast year, Pakistan's Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif announced the end of a seven-year moratorium on executions. There are currently believed to be more than 8,000 people on death row in the country. More than 200 have already been hanged in the last eight months.
The hangman responsible for at least a quarter of the executions in Pakistan is Sabir Massih. He spoke to the BBC's Pakistan correspondent Shaimaa Khalil and told her he came from generations of hangmen.
