0:30Now PlayingDonald Trump has been speaking about his interview printed in The Sun newspaper.
He said the story was "generally fine" but did not include the "tremendous things" he said about Theresa May.
"Fortunately we tend to record stories now so we have it for your enjoyment if you'd like it.
"But we record what we do with reporters - it's called fake news."
The first question comes from the BBC's Laura Kuenssberg.
She asks if the president's criticism of Mrs May was the behaviour of a friend.
Mr Trump denies criticising the prime minister.
He says the only thing he asks of Mrs May is for the US to be able to trade with the UK.
"I believe after speaking with the prime minister's people and trade experts a deal will be possible," he says.
