They're seeking a compromise deal that could get a majority in the House of Commons but tonight the Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has said the government has so far been unwilling to change its red lines – the areas it doesn't want to alter. It comes as Theresa May prepares to meet both the French President and German Chancellor tomorrow ahead of the crunch European Council summit on Wednesday where a potential extension will be discussed.
Meanwhile many British firms have been clear that a no-deal Brexit would be bad for their business. But would another delay -- which is looking more likely -- be better?
