2:55Now PlayingA large fire has broken out on the only bridge directly linking Crimea to Russia, with a section of the road collapsing.
The fire was caused by a lorry explosion, according to Russian state media.
Ukraine has not directly claimed responsibility for the incident.
However, an adviser to Ukraine's President Zelensky, Mykhailo Podolyak, called the damage a "beginning".
The 19km (12-mile) bridge across the Kerch Strait has long been thought of as a key target for Ukraine forces, as it has been used to move military equipment from Russia into Ukraine.
