Several recruits said that army officers had ordered young Rohingya men living in camps for the internally displaced to report for military training.
The same military killed thousands of Muslim Rohingyas and drove 700,000 out of the country nearly seven years ago.
Those who remain in Myanmar are denied citizenship and are subjected to a range of discriminatory restrictions.
