Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned that Moscow would regard the deployment of any European peacekeeping force in Ukraine as an act of war. He said it would be an escalation of what he called NATO's war against Russia.
It comes as European countries step up defence spending and seek to build a “coalition of the willing” to support Ukraine in its war with Russia.
