He has also dismissed an apology offered by Iran’s president Masoud Pezeshkian to neighbouring states.
In a video message, the Iranian president said Tehran would not strike them "unless attacked first".
However, Iran's foreign minister has said the country's "openness to de-escalation" was "almost immediately killed” by President Trump.
Meanwhile, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates have reported being attacked by missiles and drones, while Saudi Arabia has said a missile was launched towards a military base.
