10:38Now PlayingThe US and Iran are observing a two-week ceasefire, with President Donald Trump saying the US had "met and exceeded all military objectives" in the war. Mr Trump's partner in the conflict, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has said he supports the ceasefire, but that "this is not the end of the campaign. It is a milestone on the path to achieving all our goals."
Mr Netanyahu has vowed to continue Israel's fight against Hezbollah – which has been launching its own strikes into Israel. He says that the ceasefire does not apply to Israel's operations in Lebanon, and Washington agrees. But Iran has insisted that all fighting in the region must stop - telling President Trump that he must choose between ceasefire and war. On Wednesday Israel launched massive strikes across Lebanon, which the Lebanese health ministry now says killed more than three-hundred people.
We ask the BBC's Middle East analyst Sebastian Usher how the US and Israel's war aims have diverged, whether Prime Minister Netanyahu could jeopardise the ceasefire, and how his handling of the war is being viewed inside Israel.
