10:36Now PlayingRescue workers in Colombia are still searching for survivors after one of the worst earthquakes to hit the country in years. More than 200 people are confirmed dead, and hundreds more are injured.
One of the worst-affected cities is Cali which, just last week, hosted the inauguration of newly-elected President Abelardo de la Espriella.
A right-wing populist who was endorsed by US President Donald Trump, Mr de la Espriella has promised to crack down on the drug gangs and armed rebel groups - including the National Liberation Army (ELN) and dissident factions of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (Farc). It appears those priorities will now be delayed while the new government responds to the earthquake.
We speak to BBC Mundo's William Marquez, who is Colombian, about the scale of the devastation, and how the country's ongoing issues with violence could complicate the disaster response.
