Speaking to Nuala McGovern on Woman’s Hour, Michelle said she had always wanted to have a family and blamed herself when her fertility treatment wasn’t successful.
She also said that it was a major factor in the break-up of her first marriage.
Now aged 62, Michelle said she still thinks about it, but that at some point she stopped blaming herself and accepted that she had to ‘let it go’.
