YouTube Description
as posted by the channelPalestinian film director Maysaloun Hamoud has been garlanded for her first feature film, but also had the distinction of being the first Palestinian put under a fatwa since 1948. The movie Bar Bahar, or In Between, won the Best Young Talent award at Cannes and took two awards at the Israeli film awards. But the story of three young Palestinian women sharing an apartment in Tel Aviv, trying to live free in a restricted society, has outraged people who have never experienced anything like it from Palestinian cinema. Maysaloun Hamoud speaks to Kirsty Wark.
