as posted by the channelAngela Madden, the chair of the Women Against State Pension Inequality(Waspi) group, has said the government's decision to reject the group's calls for compensation is "a disgraceful, political decision”.
Speaking to the World At One, Madden said the group's lawyers will be looking over the decision documents, but it seems Work and Pensions Secretary Pat McFadden “has remade the same decision as before”.
The government reconsidered the case after a new document came to light, but has concluded no compensation should be paid to women affected by changes to the state pension age.
