Join us on this extraordinary guided tour through this labyrinth, commented and explained by probably the most profound Obersalzberg expert, historian Florian Beierl.
This tour, which took place in 1999, was the first and last exploration of this facility, which was made inaccessible in 2001 during the extensive remodeling of the Obersalzberg.
On April 23, 1945, Goering, together with his family and staff, was arrested by the commandant of the Obersalzberg Dr. Bernhard Frank in his country house and survived the subsequent bombing raid on April 25, 1945, in this bunker.
