52:03Now PlayingOn today’s MeidasTouch Podcast, Ben and Brett are in Washington, D.C. to bring you the latest breaking updates! After a recap of Jordy’s wedding, Ben and Brett discuss the historic passage of the Inflation Reduction Act passed by the Democrats, and the Republicans’ sticking it one more time to diabetics by voting down a provision to cap insulin costs at $35. The brothers discuss the GOP’s descent into full-blown authoritarianism, as the party welcomes Hungarian dictator Viktor Orban to their most recent CPAC event (are these like, every week now?). But having a dictator as the keynote speaker was only the beginning. CPAC featured a variety of other bizarre and fascist exhibits and speakers with the intent of destroying the rule of law and ending liberal democracy as we know it. The brothers also discuss the latest New Yorker article, which profiles Donald Trump’s desire to model the military after the Nazis and the newly released photos of Trump’s dumps. Ben and Brett wrap by covering the horrific abortion ban in Indiana and its implications. Thank you for listening and remember to subscribe to the MeidasTouch Podcast and give us a 5-star review!
