9:58Now PlayingThe United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals just made a profoundly dangerous ruling in overturning the lower court’s ruling and holding that social media companies like Twitter are required to permit hate speech on its platforms and finding social media platforms don’t have a First Amendment right to moderate its platform. This ruling allows the Texas social media law which specifically targeted Twitter to remain in place. This ruling will lead to very dangerous speech being permitted on social media and not allowing the platforms to moderate the content.
