17:28Now PlayingSteve Bannon has filed a Notice of Appeal following his criminal conviction for contempt of congress back in July and his sentencing in October where he was sentenced to 4 months in prison and a $6500 fine. The basis of appeal by Bannon will be that he wasn’t able to put on an “advice of counsel” defense at trial to try and demonstrate he didn’t have an “evil intent” in not responding to the January 6 Committee subpoenas.
