She launched her virtual law firm in 2014, carving a distinctive path in the legal sphere, especially as an African-American woman. Within three months of starting her firm, she was offered a consulting position with Long Island Against Domestic Violence and she was able to really build stability within her firm and her own life. She explains to Denisa how her work has also positively impacted the way she raises her two daughters. She makes sure to prioritize her daughters and prioritize life over making a living.
