39:42Now PlayingFriends, in this second part of my talk to the Maronite clergy, I focused on two Old Testament figures who serve as archetypes of the priesthood, Jacob and Jonah, as I continued to speak about the power and beauty of the priesthood.
From Jacob’s story, we learn that we must be simultaneously rooted to the earth and linked to heaven so that we may serve as a conduit for people to a higher world. From Jonah's trials, we come to understand that when we surrender to God, there is no limit to what God can accomplish through us.
