14:32Now PlayingFriends, this Fourth Sunday of Lent gives us marvelous readings: the First Reading from the book of Joshua, the Second Reading from Paul’s Second Letter to the Corinthians, and the Gospel reading, which is the magnificent parable of the prodigal son from Luke. The correspondences between these three readings are quite striking, and they have to do with the Eucharist and divinization.
Mass Readings:
Reading 1 — Joshua 5:9a, 10-12
Psalm — Psalm 34:2-3, 4-5, 6-7.
Reading 2 — 2 Corinthians 5:17-21
Gospel — Luke 15:1-3, 11-32
