1:26:09Now PlayingThousands of people were honoring the slain rapper Nipsey Hussle at a memorial service Thursday morning at Staples Center that will be followed by a 25-mile procession through his native South Los Angeles. #NipseyHussle, the beloved hip-hop artist's untimely death generated countless tributes from musicians, elected officials and professional athletes. Thursday's service began with a montage of photos showing Hussle at various stages of his life, alongside family members and fellow rappers. Among those also slated to speak at Thursday's service are rapper Snoop Dogg and radio DJ Big Boy. Stevie Wonder will perform his song "Rocket Love." According to a publicly released itinerary, a hearse carrying Hussle's coffin will travel from an intersection near USC and make its way into the neighborhood where Hussle's The Marathon clothing store is located in a strip mall. The procession, under the watchful eye of Los Angeles Police Department officers, will travel to its destination at a funeral home in the Crenshaw District.
