Eight Alpha Jets from the Patrouille Acrobatique de France unit streaked across the sky in formation, spraying the colours of the French flag in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
Thousands of tourists and locals enjoyed the show of the famous French aerobatic demonstration unit under bright sunshine over the beach where Americans landed on June 6th 1944, marking the beginning of the end of the Nazi occupation of Europe.
