0:35Now PlayingFormer Special Counsel Robert Mueller appeared before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday to answer questions about his report on Russian election meddling and possible obstruction of justice by President Trump. Mueller in his opening statement reiterated that he did not exonerate Trump in his probe, which did not establish a criminal conspiracy with Russia or make a determination on obstruction. He also reiterated that he was beholden to an Office of Legal Counsel policy that states a sitting president cannot be charged with a federal crime, saying "that is correct" when asked whether he chose not to indict Trump based on that policy. Mueller will later testify before the House Intelligence Committee. #MuellerHearings
