1:12Now PlayingHappy Halloween! A Florida couple’s Pokémon-inspired Jack-o’-lantern has racked up an impressive 4.5 million views since it was shared to Facebook on October 20.
The viral pumpkin, made to look like ghostly Pokémon Gastly, was created by RJ Preston and Amber Griffin.
According to Preston, the pair had thought about making the Gastly pumpkin since 2017, after they went viral with another Pokemon-themed gourd.
To get the perfect smoking illusion, Preston told Storyful they “made about 20 or so holes in the back of the pumpkin to vent the smoke,” and used a purple smoke bomb from Peacocksmoke.com.
