MADA says the residents of the house were in a nearby building. No injuries were reported.
A video released by the emergency service showed a car pock-marked with debris from the rocket.
The Israeli military says it intercepted seven rockets fired from the Gaza Strip.
No Palestinian groups claimed responsibility for the rocket fire, the second such incident in 24 hours after nearly a month of relative calm.
