0:50Now PlayingPresident Donald Trump addressed an election rally in Pennsylvania on Tuesday, and condemned the Democrats for announcing articles of impeachment against him, describing the move as a witch hunt.
He mocked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, saying her decision would benefit his re-election campaign by driving voters in his direction.
"Our poll numbers have gone through the roof because of her stupid impeachment," he said.
Trump linked the impeachment move to the Democrats' announcement that they have approved the U.S, Mexico Canada Agreement.
He said they had timed the announcement for today because they were "embarrassed" over the impeachment move.
Trump was addressing supporters in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
