0:40Now PlayingA memorial service was held on Thursday for the 22-year-old university student who died after falling from a car park during a protest in early November.
A few hundred people, some carrying white flowers, arrived at Pofook Memorial Hall to pay tribute to Chow Tsz-Lok, student of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, who fell after police fired tear gas during clashes with anti-government protesters.
The cause of his death has not been fully determined.
Protesters are blaming the police for his death, which has deepened more anger and sparked more protests in the semi-autonomous city.
Hong Kong has been rocked by protests since June over a now-shelved extradition bill that would have allowed criminal suspects to be extradited to mainland China.
The protests have evolved into a movement calling for fully democratic elections, an independent investigation into police brutality and other demands.
