Anger has stoked 5 days of sometimes violent demonstrations across the country from New Delhi and Mumbai to the eastern states.
"What government is doing when people are coming out to protest is not legal, it is unlawful, it goes against the Constitution," Liza, a student and protester said on Tuesday in New Delhi. "The bill, the act itself is unconstitutional, and we should be standing up for it."
