U.S. intelligence officials alleged Wednesday that China underreported virus cases and deaths and was dealing with a full-blown outbreak "as much as a month" before the world learned of it in December.
China’s public reporting on cases and deaths is intentionally incomplete, they said. Two of the officials said the report concludes that China’s numbers are fake.
