as posted by the channelVice President Mike Pence is working Monday on the White House grounds, according to a person familiar with the matter, after isolating himself over the weekend following an aide’s positive test for coronavirus infection.
Pence is working from the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, a short walk from the West Wing, the person said. His official schedule lists a video conference with governors at 11 a.m., and it isn’t clear if he’ll meet with President Donald Trump during the day.
Pence’s press secretary, Katie Miller, was diagnosed with Covid-19 on Friday. The vice president traveled to Iowa for meetings after learning of her positive test but didn’t attend a meeting between Trump and military leaders on Saturday.
