1:17Now PlayingSouth Korea's President Moon Jae-in urged North Korea to formally end the Korean War on its 70th anniversary on June 25. The South Korean president said it was not possible to "commemorate the Korean War in a genuine manner yet" because the war had not come to an end.
His comments were made at commemorative ceremony on marking the 70th anniversary of the 1950-1953 Korean War.
The event included a ceremony marking the return of remains of 147 South Korean soldiers and six UN Command soldiers.
The remains were discovered under the joint project by South Korea and the U.S.
The remains of six UN Command soldiers have been confirmed to be remains of American soldiers, and they will be returned to the US on Friday.
Leaders of 22 countries participated in the Korean War under UN Command sent video messages to commemorate the anniversary.
