0:43Now PlayingProtests in Portland, Oregon, continued for the 61st night into the early hours of July 28, as hundreds of people marched downtown and gathered near the Mark O Hatfield Courthouse.
Footage posted by @sunnymok on Twitter shows tear gas being deployed outside the courthouse.
Portland Police said in a statement that a “Molotov cocktail, or similar destructive device” was thrown at the courthouse. A fire was also started inside the fence at the courthouse, police said, with protesters piling wood and debris onto it.
City police said no CS gas was used by them during the incidents. The Oregonian said it was used by federal officers.
Police said one juvenile was arrested.
