Sep 3, 20200:48Now PlayingThe Mexican Navy seized 2.9 tons of cocaine east of Mahahual, Quintana Roo on Tuesday.
As part of the armed marine patrol operation, infantry members rappelled down to the vessel securing 74 packages with 40 bricks of approximately 2,960 kilograms of suspected cocaine.
The high speed, erratic movements of the ship caught the attention of the surveillance patrols who deployed the operation.
According to a report from the Navy, three suspects were arrested in the operation.
