1:01Now PlayingEvacuations were ordered in Los Angeles County, California, as the Bobcat Fire burned downhill and threatened communities in the area on Sunday, September 13, according to local media reports.
“Dangerous wildfire conditions” prompted evacuations for some residents in the city of Arcadia on Sunday, according to reports. Evacuation warnings have also been issued for a number of nearby cities, including Monrovia and Pasadena.
The blaze had burned approximately 31,991 acres and was six percent contained as of Sunday morning, according to fire officials. The Bobcat Fire reportedly sparked on September 6 in the Angeles National Forest.
Instagram user @lucastduarte, who identified himself as a firefighter, said this footage shows flames scorching the hills of Monrovia, California, on Saturday.
