ABC7 reported that shifting winds were “bringing flames from the Bobcat Fire dangerously close to Mount Wilson.”
The Mount Wilson Observatory said this timelapse footage shows flames illuminating the night on Monday. The observatory described the hellish inferno as a “Hades-scape.”
The Bobcat Fire has burned at least 106,179 acres and was at 13 percent containment late on Monday, the Angeles National Forest Service said.
