0:43Now PlayingDemocratic Vice Presidential nominee Sen. Kamala Harris reacted to the announcement of a Kentucky grand jury relating to Breonna Taylor.
On her way into a Senate Intelligence Committee meeting on Capitol Hill, Harris said, "I haven't read it fully yet, but there's no question that Breonna Taylor and her family deserved justice yesterday, today and tomorrow, so I'll review it and then I can say more."
A grand jury has indicted a fired Kentucky police officer on criminal charges in the Breonna Taylor case - but not for her death.
Brett Hankison was charged Wednesday with three counts of wanton endangerment for firing into the apartments of Taylor's neighbors.
Taylor was shot multiple times by officers who burst into her home on March 13 during a narcotics investigation.
Sen. Harris also said "it's good to be back" to work at the Capitol. Harris' schedule has been packed with campaign events in the weeks leading up to Election Day.
