Questions raised by Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas on Wednesday quickly gained traction as a viral moment on Twitter.

Cornyn asked Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett what she has been referring to in in answering questions posed to her by the 22 Senate Judiciary Committee members.

Barrett held up a blank notepad that she said only had the words "United States Senate" imprinted upon it.

Cornyn replied, "that's impressive" exchanging glances with his Republican colleagues.
