Two firefighters have been critically injured as a result of fighting the blaze, which had burned over 13,000 acres and was 40 percent contained as of October 29, Cal Fire said.
Approximately 90,000 people were forced to evacuate their homes on Monday due to the fire. Some were allowed to return to their homes early on Thursday, local news reported.
This clip, posted by the Orange County Fire Authority on Twitter, shows charred land close to residential areas in Orange County. “Great work done by air and ground crews keeping this fire from damaging any structures,” fire officials said.
