1:26Now PlayingAn armed man, identified by police as Justin Dunn, 36, was arrested and charged with second-degree trespassing for loitering at a polling site in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Election Day.
Video shows Dunn sitting nearby the polling site with his dog, and later being led away by the police.
According to WBTV, Dunn was legally carrying an unconcealed firearm, but police were contacted amid fears Dunn could intimidate voters.
“Dunn was asked to leave the property by an official presiding over the precinct location in front of officers and voluntarily left without further issues,” said police. “Dunn was also banned from returning to that location by the precinct official.”
However, Dunn was reported later to have returned to the site, and police arrested and charged him with second-degree trespassing.
