COVID-19 cases continue to surge in North Dakota, which is currently among the nation’s hotspots for coronavirus spread.
The update released Sunday showed 1,150 positive COVID-19 tests, for a total of 72,683 cases since the start of the pandemic.
November is on track to become North Dakota’s deadliest month from COVID-19.
Data shows 268 people died so far in November, while 285 died in October.
That accounts for more than half of the 834 people who died of the virus in North Dakota since the pandemic began.
