0:57Now PlayingSeveral states in the northeast were under a tornado watch as storms moved across the region on Monday, November 30, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.
A tornado watch was issued for parts of New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, according to the NWS. The weather service also warned of possible hail and wind gusts reaching 70 mph.
Collin Gross filmed this footage of rain and wind lashing Avon-By-The-Sea, a beachside city in New Jersey that fell under the tornado watch. His footage also shows sand blowing across the beach as winds pick up in the area.
