6:16Now PlayingThe World Food Program received its Nobel Peace Prize during a small ceremony at the UN agency's headquarters in Rome on Thursday.
Amid the coronavirus pandemic, Thursday's ceremony was a far cry from the pomp-filled traditional celebration in the Norwegian capital.
In Oslo, the head of the Norwegian Nobel Committee opened the ceremony with a webstream before David Beasley, the U.N. agency boss, was handed the medal and Nobel diploma for efforts to combat hunger.
