The House impeachment managers in Donald Trump's impeachment trial plan to use Capitol security footage that hasn’t been publicly released before as they build their case against the former president. They will use the footage to argue that Trump incited the Jan. 6 insurrection, according to Democratic aides working on the case.
Prosecutors will lay out their opening arguments Wednesday after Tuesday's emotional first day in which the Senate saw graphic footage of the riot that left five people dead.
Trump is said to be fuming over his lawyers’ performance, and his allies are questioning the defense strategy.
His lawyers, David Schoen and Bruce Castro, could be seen walking to the Senate floor before the start of the trial.
