1:13Now PlayingU.S. President Joe Biden returned to the White House early Wednesday morning and spoke briefly with reporters.
He was returning from Milwaukee, where he took part in a CNN town hall.
During the town hall Biden confirmed he had picked up the phone to talk with one or more of his predecessors since becoming president, but declined to say who.
He added: “By the way, all of them have, with one exception, picked up the phone and called me as well.”
When a reporter asked about this comment outside the White House, Biden declined to say which former president didn't reach out, or whether it was former President Trump.
